Chocolate Chip Brownies

Rich, little sandwiches of Keebler® Vanilla Wafers and cream cheese are buried in these easy-to-make brownies.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 48 Keebler® Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 package (18.9 oz. to 19.9 oz.) brownie mix*
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/3 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions

1. Spread cream cheese on bottoms of 24 of the cookies. Top with remaining cookies, bottom sides down, making 24 sandwiches. Set aside.

2. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions for cake brownies. Thinly spread about 1 1/4 cups of the batter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Arrange cookie sandwiches on top. Spoon dollops of remaining batter over tops of cookie sandwiches.

3. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate morsels over top. Bake at 350°F for 27 to 35 minutes or until set. Cool completely.

*NOTE: Use a brownie mix that has instructions for cake brownies.
